EDIT: Culminating my Master’s in Interaction Design, I developed a conversation tool to help remind adults how to make friends. As a graduate of the 2022 class, this concept was particularly apt at the time. However, I realized our “social reversal” wasn’t only a byproduct of the pandemic. Our growing reliance on technology for communication had stunted our ability to interact with people in-person.
